Article 1The Ministry of Labor shall establish the Institute of Labor,Occupational Safety and Health (hereinafter referred to as "the Institute") to be in charge of labor, occupational safety and health research matters.
Article 2The Institute shall be in charge of the following matters：
1.Research on labor marketing, human resources and employment security.
2.Research on labor relations, working conditions and labor welfare.
3.Research on technology development and management of occupational safety and health.
4.Research on risk assessment nd management of occupational injuries and diseases.
5.Projects planning and performance dissemination.
6.Other matters on research associated with labor, occupational safety and health.
Article 3The Institute shall have one Director-General at senior grade 13, and one Deputy Director-General at senior grade 12.
Article 4The Institute shall have one Chief-Secretary at senior grade 11.
Article 5The official ranks, grades, and headcounts of personnel at the Institute shall be regulated by a separate Personnel Establishment Table.
Article 6The effective date of this Act shall be decreed by the Executive Yuan.
